Founded in 2004, El Gaucho is a family-run steakhouse bringing the spirit of Argentina to the heart of York. Pablo and his son Lucas Torres have created a place where people can come together over great food, warm hospitality & a passion for real cooking.

We serve only the best — free-range, grass-fed beef. Every cut is cooked over an open flame the traditional way, locking in bold, smoky flavour. Whether it’s tender fillet or a juicy rib-eye, we take pride in serving steaks worth remembering.
